and she was like “well CLEARLY all you did was read the online summary of the book or online reviews. how DARE you judge this book you don’t know anything.”

i read that book while she was still wearing diapers. that book was so bad that every single kid in my 8th grade class asked the teacher to not make us finish it. and you know what i did? i felt so bad for hating a book i hadn’t read all the way through that i went to the library and deliberately finished it SPECIFICALLY SO I COULD RAG ON IT WITHOUT GUILT. and you know what. it still sucks.

haha omg i remember that book. i actually read it all the way through, out of a sense of misguided duty. i think i was the only one in that class who did. and i hated it.
